Cassius Francis Project Co-Leader, Church Trainer & Resourcer of the Loss and HOPE Project Expand The Reverend Cassius Francis has been an ordained minister with the Wesleyan Holiness Church since 2015 and, alongside his role as Co-Leader of AtaLoss's Loss and HOPE Project, works part time as the Operations Manager for the church. Prior to ordained ministry, his background was in youth and community work and mentoring. Most recently he has developed an independent training forum and Facebook group called 'Pandemic Bereavement Recovery' and a trustee of Edward’s Trust a charity supporting children and families facing loss and surviving bereavement across the West Midlands. Cassius lives in the West Midlands with his wife Vanessa.

Katy Tutt Project Manager of the Loss and HOPE Project Expand Katy Tutt manages AtaLoss's Loss and HOPE Project, which equips and supports churches to become bereavement friendly within their communities. Katy has many years of experience in both church administration and sales and marketing. She is the person to contact if you have a faith-based resource you think should be included on the Loss and HOPE website or if you want to run The Bereavement Journey in your church. She lives in rural mid-Wales with her family and two mischievous dogs, sings in three different choirs and is secretary of her church's PCC.
Lindsay Lucas AtaLoss Friends Co-ordinator Expand Lindsay Lucas has joined the team to establish the Friends of AtaLoss - Friends are supporters who believe in what we do, have benefitted from our service or are professionals who want others to know about our signposting and information service. Lindsay has enjoyed two main careers: teaching and running her own music business. She composed a musical work in 2008 to raise money for her local bereavement charity, Edward’s Trust, in Birmingham, only to find her own need for the charity’s counselling support three years later when her husband died suddenly leaving her the sole parent of a 12 year old. For the last eight years, Lindsay has befriended many young widows, through her support for Care For the Family (CFF). She has also delivered CFF’s Bereavement Awareness courses and helped facilitate 14 online The Bereavement Journey courses run by AtaLoss nationally and locally during the pandemic. She is a keen supporter bereavement charities and loves connecting & engaging with people, being creative, (and proof-reading!) - all transferable skills which she is enthusiastic to use in her new role as AtaLoss Friends Co-ordinator. Pete English Project Leader and Trainer for the ListeningPeople Project Expand Pete has a passion for seeing young people get the support that they need and to find a voice to talk about their experiences. He's worked as a youth worker and counsellor for over 25 years specialising in supporting young people affected by bereavement and parental separation. He has spoken widely on this subject throughout the UK and other parts of the world and been involved in helping to set up charities that work with the bereaved. Pete leads the ListeningPeople Project for AtaLoss.org which specialises in training youth leaders, teachers and other professionals who engage with bereaved young people.
