You will explore your own feelings about loss and bereavement and learn about the ways in which bereavement affects people. This is helpful for anyone who has been bereaved to better understand their grief but also for people in the community supporting bereaved people.

You will also look at your own coping strategies for supporting people who have been bereaved.

  • What grief is
  • The ‘cycle of grief’ (using Kubler Ross model of grief)
  • The difference between ‘normal’ and ‘abnormal’ grief
  • What advice and support we can provide to people who are bereaved

Fee: £25
