Research shows that children need to be involved in what is happening when an important person in their lives experiences life-threatening illness. The service works with children and their families to help them to find ways to communicate and express emotions safely.

The Unicorn Service aims to help children and young people in Newport, Monmouthshire, to access the support they need to manage the impact on them when a significant adult in their lives is seriously ill or has died.
