Martlet's bereavement service offers support to the family and friends of patients who have received care from Martlets – whether that’s on the inpatient unit or out in the community. Their expert team of counsellors and trained volunteers will do their best to support your individual needs. They provide provide both one-off and ongoing sessions.

Spiritual support

Martlet's welcome people of all faiths and beliefs. Their chaplain is available to speak with patients who need a listening ear, spiritual advice, religious guidance, or wish to explore what is meaningful to them.

The Chaplain is available to call you or visit you at home and is also available at the inpatient unit. If you’d like to speak with your own faith leader while you’re staying at the hospice, they are happy to arrange this too.
