Isabel Hospice

A team of trained Bereavement support workers and counsellors are here to offer one-to-one support for anyone who had a relative or friend who was cared for by Isabel Hospice.

They also offer a reciprocal service for those whose relatives have died in other hospices, but who live in our area.

Child Bereavement support and care to all children in Eastern Hertfordshire

Mindfulness courses available.

For the children : group work and 1-1 support is available.   Children are supported whether or not associated with a hospice patient.

Grief Encounters Bereavement group which is a 6 week course in Welwyn Garden City, Hoddesdon and Bishops Stortford.  Need to self refer to be added to a group.

Compassionate cafes which are drop in social meet ups and are in Broxbourne, Ware, Hatfield, Bishops Stortford, Welwyn Garden City, Waltham Cross, Cheshunt and Hertford- no need to self refer.

Both of these services are available to anyone whether they are associated with a hospice patient or not.
