Halo Children's Foundation, Uxbridge HALO can support bereaved children in many different ways. Their regular groups give an opportunity for parents and carers to meet with others, whilst children get involved in expressive arts and play and make friends with others maybe going through something similar. With a peer support group, families have a place to come to, so they do not have to grieve alone, which can be a lifeline to many. Halo has a child play therapist, a family support worker and other professionals at hand to help support families. They also run a play cafe in Uxbridge. Halo also provides children with personalised memory boxes, a bereavement book library, offer school support and fund trips – for families to create new memories together.
