Birmingham Hospice Birmingham Hospice (formerly John Taylor and St. Mary’s Hospice) provides Pre-Bereavement and Bereavement Services at the Erdington and Selly Park sites. Support may be offered face to face, over the telephone or by video link. Free bereavement counselling and support is offered to adults and children where there is a link to the Hospice, either at the Selly Park or Erdington sites. They also offer a paid service to anyone seeking bereavement counselling where there isn't a link with the Hospice. Where needed, group work can be provided, as well as remembrance events and regular social groups for bereaved adults. Confidential free support is offered to children, young people and adults who have connected with either site because of the death of a patient.
