Peter was a much loved husband, dad, brother, grandpa, great grandpa, uncle and friend. We would love our family and friends to leave messages, memories and photos on this page. AtaLoss, was close to Peter's heart and we know that he would value donations instead of flowers to go to this incredible bereavement charity.

We will never forget our trip to England several years ago , and what a gracious host Uncle Peter was. He made us feel so comfortable in his home. We remember early mornings having tea in the garden , explanations about English football, and his kind and gentle manner. He toured us around England and France , and did all the driving! He was so patient as we had to take many rest breaks on our travels lol. We were saddened by the news of his passing and wish we could be there with you . Our heart felt condolences to Auntie Pauline, and cousins Niki, Janine, and Yvonne and your beautiful families. He will be missed . Love Lorie and Sharon

It was such a privilege to have Dad with us with Mum for Christmas and to have been able to care for him at our home in his last days. He really wanted to join us for Christmas to see the family, in particular his 5 great grandchildren, not least of all meet the youngest, Lyla, only 3 weeks old. He loved the nativity play we did for him and kept asking the children to sing him Away in a Manager. This picture is of him saying goodbye to Anna and Eloise when they left and praying for Eloise.

I have so many memories of Grandpa but naming a few of my favourites - going to stay in the Caravan in Bournemouth with Him, Nana, Toni & Jodi, we had such a great time visiting the sea life centre,cinema and Grandpa even rescued us from a fire! Another memory is when Grandpa came with Nana to my grandparents day at school- I was so excited to see them. More recently was when Nana and Grandpa took myself and luke out for dinner when we got engaged. Grandpa chose some flowers himself for me. I will miss seeing him sat in his arm chair doing his sudoku's in the conservatory when going round and hearing him talk of his stories from when he was young. He was such a kind inspiration man and I am proud to call him my gramps! Luke is also so grateful for him welcoming him into the family and we both hope our marriage will be as strong as his and Nana's marriage in years to come xx
