Padre Mark Perry

Mark is an Anglican priest whose background includes education, policing, military service and ministry in city, rural, cathedral, ecumenical and Defence settings. His commitment to public service includes the Air Training Corps, Army Cadet Force, the Territorial Army and Metropolitan Police.

Commissioned into the RAF Chaplains Branch in 2015, Mark has supported personnel across the UK and overseas. His leadership has helped shape pastoral care, national services, and Defence engagement, including the RAF’s first nationally broadcast LGBTQ+ service at St Clement Danes, the Central Church of the RAF where he was Resident Chaplain. In 2025, he was awarded the Polish Army Medal by the Minister of National Defence of Poland for services to the Polish Armed Forces internationally.

A passionate advocate for inclusion, education and heritage, Mark actively supports charitable causes as a fundraiser, ambassador, and regional board member. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, promotes dyslexic thinking, and is a Liveryman and Chaplain to the Worshipful Company of Educators. In 2017, he was appointed to the Most Venerable Order of St John for services to the Faith and Humanity.
