Welsh singer-songwriter Mal Pope has released a new single Still With Me to accompany Bereavement Matters Season.
Mal Pope is one of Wales’ most celebrated singer-songwriters and broadcasters, with a career spanning more than five decades. His new song, Still With Me, is about remembering someone who has died and the lasting place they hold through the everyday moments of life.
The release comes as AtaLoss celebrates its 10th anniversary at St Paul's Cathedral and launches the first Bereavement Matters Season, a UK-wide season of remembering, awareness and support throughout November and December. It amplifies and builds upon the existing grief and bereavement themes and opportunities, creating a shared opportunity to remember those who have died, raise awareness of the impact of bereavement and help people find support.
Mal’s song accompanies the Remembering Trail, a series of installations across London inviting people to pause, reflect and remember loved ones during Bereavement Matters Season. The trail is made up of rotary washing lines to symbolise how grief can be present in the everyday moments and routines of life, and visitors are being invited to add the name of a loved one and/or a message to the installation.
