The Curiously Kind Counsellor offers thoughtful, specialist bereavement support for adults navigating grief, loss and significant life changes. Although sessions are paid for, not free, a free introductory call is available to help individuals decide if the service feels right for them. Appointments are then offered online or by telephone, typically on a weekly or fortnightly basis.

This service recognises that grief is not limited to bereavement following death, but can also arise from a wide range of losses, including relationship endings, identity changes, fertility struggles, or unmet hopes for the future. Clients are supported to make sense of complex emotions such as sadness, anger, anxiety or disconnection, whether their loss is recent or from many years ago.

Counselling is tailored to the individual, with a gentle, relational approach that explores how grief affects the mind, body and sense of self. The Curiously Kind Counsellor also has particular experience supporting neurodivergent adults, offering an inclusive and affirming environment where different ways of thinking and feeling are understood and respected.
