Shooting Star Children's Hospices
Following the death of a patient, Shooting Star offers families of patients access to a comprehensive programme of bereavement support: counselling, therapies, drop-in sessions, sibling groups, family activities, specialist advice from our social work team and more.
Shooting Star’s Specialist Bereavement Service now also offers their specialist bereavement support to those families where a child has died suddenly and unexpectedly. Families must reside in their catchment area (Surrey, South-West London or North-West London), the death must have occurred within the last 18months and the young person must have died before their 18th birthday.
