Carers in Hertfordshire
When someone close to you passes away, it can be a challenging, emotional and lonely time - particularly if you have been supporting that person for a while. Talking and sharing feelings with someone who is experienced in listening, or with other bereaved people who have similar experiences can be helpful.
Carers in Hertfordshire help unpaid carers who have links to Hertfordshire, or those who have been bereaved in the last 3 years. You might live, work or have a GP surgery in Hertfordshire – or the person you supported lived in the county.
We offer bereavement support in group sessions in Ware and Watford. If you cannot access a group or would rather not attend one, we also offer bereavement support over the phone. Find out more or request support by calling us on 01992 58 69 69.
Our free group sessions will help you to:
· Share your experience with other people in a similar situation.
· Help you to find your own way to cope and move forward.
· Get the information you need about other support and services which are available to you.
The sessions are run by an experienced team of volunteers who will be present at all sessions to offer a listening ear and support.
Confidentiality is respected within the group at all times.
If you would like more information or would like to talk to a member of the Bereavement Support Team, please get in touch.
