Sabine Horner
Sabine Horner is a Registered Nutritionist, Ayurvedic Practitioner, and Yoga Therapist specialising in the physical impact of grief — particularly the often overlooked link between grief and gut health.
After losing her husband, Kevin, to leukaemia, Sabine experienced first-hand how profound loss affects the whole body, not just the mind. Drawing on her professional training, she developed simple, compassionate strategies for the everyday challenges of grief — from finding the motivation to cook for one, to rebuilding routines when even basic tasks feel overwhelming.
Her work brings together modern nutrition science and ancient healing principles to help people make sense of the wide-ranging physical symptoms grief can trigger. Through natural remedies, tools, and practices, combined with health coaching, she empowers individuals in gradually improving their overall wellbeing and resilience.
Sabine offers individual support programmes, a group course for appetite loss, yoga classes, Culinary Grief Workshops, and a year-long habit-building series centred on stress and sleep recovery. She also shares free resources across multiple channels, including webinars, YouTube videos, articles, and her eBook The Grief-Friendly Pantry.
She is the author of the Christmas Survival Guide and Cookbook, Nourishing Through Loss: A Gentle Holiday Guide, designed to support bereaved individuals through the festive season with steadier energy, mood, and emotional balance.
