We are delighted to welcome Dawn Hobson to AtaLoss as our new Head of Partnerships and Signposting.
Dawn joins AtaLoss with a wealth of experience as an Independent Senior Advocate within the NHS. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with bereaved families, ensuring their voices are heard at both local and national levels.
Dawn originally trained as a nurse before going on to complete a PhD in Nursing, focusing on the care of dying patients within acute hospital environments. She has also spent over a decade in teaching and research in palliative care, and her work reflects a deep commitment to listening, learning, and driving meaningful change.
In her role at AtaLoss, Dawn will work closely with our CEO, Yvonne Tulloch, and the senior leadership team to strengthen partnerships across the public, bereavement, and commercial sectors. She will play a key role in raising awareness of bereavement as a public health issue, influencing policy, and ensuring that our website continues to serve as a trusted and accessible gateway to high-quality support.
Dawn will also lead the development of partnerships that enable more holistic bereavement support within communities and workplaces. Her work will support the sustainability and reach of AtaLoss through training, collaboration, and effective external engagement.
