The Stokes Widowed Community

A group for those who are widowed of any age.

Losing a partner changes life in so many ways, and it can feel hard to know where to turn. 

The Stokes Widowed Community was established by Caroline, a member of their church family. As part of that, they offer the Bereavement Café – a gentle space for anyone who has lost a husband, wife, or partner.

At the Bereavement Café, you’ll find:
– a warm welcome and friendly faces;
– the chance to share your story, or just to listen;
– understanding and support from others who “get it”;
– a safe space to connect and feel less alone.
– Whether your loss is recent or many years ago, you are not alone — you are warmly invited.

There’s no cost, no need to book, and no pressure to talk.Just come as you are.

The Bereavement Café runs twice a month here at CTK:
– The second Saturday of the month, 2:00pm-4:00pm
– The fourth Tuesday of the month, 6:30pm-8:30pm
