Providing a number of services aimed at supporting bereaved parents:

Listening Ear Helpline

• Listening Ear Helpline answered by trained volunteers (8am – 8pm)

• Every trained volunteer is also a bereaved parent

Drop-in Centres

• Bereaved parents meet in an informal, safe, friendly and confidential environment

• Staffed by trained volunteer bereaved parents

• Complementary therapies are regularly arranged

Befriending Service

• Putting parents in touch with others who have lost a son or daughter through similar circumstances

• Support for newly bereaved parents

Subsidised Counselling

• Available to bereaved parents according to need, considered on a case by case basis

• The trust aims to meet some or all of the therapy cost

Professional Referral

• From GP's or other healthcare professionals are welcome

• Funeral Directors will also find the Trust a helpful point of reference

• Leaflets and other publicity material on the Trust's work are available for display

• All referrals will be dealt with in the strictest confidence

• Professionals are welcome to contact the Trust ahead of formal referral if required

• The Rosie Crane Trust has no religious or political affiliations
