The Lucy Rayner Foundation (LRF) funds a team of qualified counsellors to support young people aged 14-39, providing a safe, therapeutic environment to help manage life’s challenges. We offer counselling for a range of issues, from difficult life events like bereavement to mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and work-related stress.

For individuals aged 14-18, we provide six fully funded one-on-one sessions, making professional support accessible to those who need it most. Our counselling services are available to all ages 14-39, with fees tailored to individual financial circumstances, starting as low as £10. For those facing financial hardship, additional funding options are available.

In addition, LRF offers specialised support to individuals in Surrey who have been bereaved by suicide.

While donations from parents or guardians of young people receiving fully funded sessions are welcomed, they are entirely optional and can be discussed during the initial assessment.

We also offer support groups for adults — both women and men — available online and in person. These are not specific bereavement groups, but rather general support groups providing a safe space to talk, share, and connect with others.
