The Co-operative Funeral Care Bereavement Service
Bereavement Care is a free service designed to support your emotional, practical and social needs, providing access to one to one bereavement counselling, friendship/social and support groups and memorial services across the southern counties.
Bereavement Care is a small team of dedicated professionals, with extensive knowledge of bereavement, grief and loss and experience in counselling.
Services include:
One to One bereavement counselling – face to face, telephone or via Microsoft Teams.
Bereavement Wellbeing Support Groups. Meet other people experiencing bereavement, helping and supporting each other through this difficult time. These support groups meet once a month in locations across the south as well as virtually via Microsoft Teams.
Friendship groups. Make new friends and gain confidence at these friendly social groups.
Mindfulness Sessions. Learn simple mindfulness practices and explore how mindfulness can help support selfcare. These sessions are held virtually via Microsoft Teams.
