Peer-led support groups and national helpline can provide a safe, confidential environment in which those impacted by suicide can share experiences and feelings, thus giving and gaining support from each other.

If you have lost someone to suicide, a local peer support group is now meeting in Colburn. The group is facilitated by SoBS volunteers, who have also experienced this type of bereavement. The group is open to all those aged 18 years and over who have lost someone to suicide, such as a friend, family member or work colleague.

The group meets on the last Thursday evening of the month from 7pm in Colburn Village Hall, 54 Colburn Lane, DL9 4LZ.

Services also include email support email.support@uksobs.org and an online community forum.
