Ripples of Compassion
Ripples of Compassion strive to ensure that all parents/carers and families experiencing the heartache of having a child with cancer, life-limiting condition or that has died receive the appropriate social, emotional and mental health support at the time they need it in a way that is accessible to them. We work with hospitals, hospices, and charities to support children, parents and siblings at this critical time. Whilst our support to children is only available to those with cancer or a life limiting condition our bereavement support is available to ALL parents regardless of the reason the child died.
All our support is free to families and includes:
Bereavement therapy for as long as it is needed for parents at any point after a child has died.
Bereavement libraries to hospitals, hospices and voluntary groups to support bereaved parents and siblings.
Contributions towards keepsakes and headstones for families to help them remember their child.
Self-care boxes for bereaved families to support their emotional and mental well-being.
Healthy home/chef-made ready meals for bereaved parents on leaving hospital/hospice following the death of their child.
Activity packs for children to support engagement in meaningful activity whilst in hospital/isolation.
