Little Wings of Hope
Little Wings of Hope is a baby loss charity supporting bereaved parents and families across Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire face-to-face and also offers online services nationally. Founded by parents with lived experience of baby loss, the charity offers compassionate peer support to help families through the grief that follows the loss of a baby.
They provide practical and emotional support through bereavement breaks, wellbeing packs, peer support groups, pregnancy-after-loss support, befriending and remembrance activities. They also work with hospitals, communities and employers to improve support and awareness around baby loss.
Befriending connects bereaved parents with trained volunteers who have their own experience of baby loss, providing a safe space to talk with someone who understands.
Little Wings of Hope also supports parents experiencing a pregnancy after loss, and offers resources and support to help families remember and honour their babies.
Some services have specific eligibility criteria.
Areas covered: Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire, with some online support available.
