'Grieving Together' at St James Church meets on Thursdays at 11.30am for about an hour. You are invited to have drinks and snacks and chat, and usually spend some part of the time doing an activity together, decided on by the group.

These activities have included going for a walk in the park, making crafts, writing poetry, bringing in a memento of a loved one etc. The activity is usually themed around some aspect of grief, but the group is very informal and sometimes everyone just chats and eat cake.

The group meets at St James Church, but welcomes people of any faith or none. Staff from the local funeral director bring their wealth of experience and help to facilitate the group.
