Eye to Eye Counselling Service provides free, confidential counselling and bereavement support for children and young people aged 10-30 across Rhondda Cynon Taf. Established in 1995, the service delivers counselling in schools, community settings, and through specialist projects designed to support those affected by loss and trauma.
Eye to Eye supports children, young people, and families following the death of a parent, sibling, grandparent, friend, significant caregiver, or other important person in their lives. Their specialist Trauma Response Team provides emotional support, information, advice, and signposting for children, young people, adults, and communities following traumatic bereavement and sudden loss across Rhondda Cynon Taf, Bridgend, and Merthyr Tydfil.
The organisation also delivers a Primary Bereavement Project, a systemic approach that supports primary-aged children experiencing the death of one or more parents or significant caregivers. The project works collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to help children navigate grief and build resilience following a significant loss.
