Child Bereavement UK NHS Service - Greater Glasgow & Clyde
Child Bereavement UK is commissioned by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde with funding from Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity to provide bereavement support for families when a child has died or is dying, as well as support for hospital staff.
Families:
- Face-to-face support, walk and talk sessions, and support by video or telephone
- Support sessions for individuals, couples, and families
- Support groups to enable parents and carers to meet others in a supportive environment
Support and Training for NHS Staff:
- Staff confidential listening and booked telephone support sessions for staff across NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde
- Drop-in support at Royal Hospital for Children and weekly drop-ins across maternity hospitals in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde
- Facilitation of Team discussions and debriefs
- Bereavement awareness sessions for staff groups
- Resilience sessions for staff groups
