Child Bereavement UK - Birmingham
Child Bereavement UK supports families when a child grieves or when a child dies. They provide assistance to children and young people up to the age of 25 who have lost someone important, as well as to parents and families when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying. The charity offers face-to-face, online, and group support, and also runs a helpline for guidance and a confidential listening ear. Additionally, they train professionals in various sectors to ensure bereaved families receive the best possible care. The charity will also work in community centres and schools.
The service, based in West Heath, aims to improve outcomes for bereaved families by collaborating with existing support services and offering comprehensive training to professionals. This initiative is part of Child Bereavement UK's broader mission to help families rebuild their lives after the loss of a loved one.
