Harlington Hospice has a dedicated Children and Adolescent Bereavement Service, offering a range of support for children, young people, and their families. This includes

  • 1:1 therapeutic support for children and adolescents

  • Pre- and post-bereavement support, particularly for children experiencing the death of a family member due to an end-of-life illness

  • Parent support groups and bereavement groups

  • Family support from prognosis through to end-of-life care

Their aim is to ensure children, young people, and families receive compassionate, developmentally appropriate support during what can be an incredibly difficult time. The team is also a member of Child Bereavement Network with partnerships within Hillington Borough.
