Improving Mental Wellbeing in West Cumbria
Offering a variety of support services - in schools, home and out and about in the community. Here's a selection of what's on offer.
Coping Strategies 1:1 - Tailored around the needs of the individual, we help you learn the best alternative approaches for managing your mental well-being from 11+ years to adults.
Alternative Therapies - Provided by fully qualified staff: Aromatherapy, Reiki, Massage, Laughter Yoga.
Colour Coded - A weekly drop-in group for LGBTQ+ individuals aged 11-15 and 16-25. It is a safe space to be yourself and engage in planned activities with your friends.
Walking Football - Every Wednesday at Whitehaven 11am and Workington 1.30pm.
Mental Health Awareness - Short courses delivered to local organisations, designed to raise awareness of mental health issues. We teach effective coping strategies that you can implement to improve your well-being.
Counselling - If you're a parent or caregiver to a child under 18, we can offer you counselling with our qualified counsellor.
Connect Group - A weekly adult drop-in group that meets weekly in:
- Whitehaven on Fri 12pm
- Workington Thu 12.30pm
- Workington Thu 5pm (Evening group)
Join in a range of Arts and Crafts activities, games and discussions to help you connect with like-minded people in your community.
