Lisa Coupland

Revd Lisa Coupland is a Church of England priest who first captured the public’s attention as a contestant on series 3 of BBC’s The Traitors. Since then, she has appeared on daytime TV programmes, BBC Sunday morning radio shows, and in national magazines, quickly becoming known for her warmth, authenticity, and ability to talk openly about life’s most profound challenges. She continues to use her public profile to raise awareness of issues that matter, bringing encouragement, resilience, and hope to people across the UK.

Lisa’s passion for supporting those who are grieving is shaped by both her ministry and her own experiences of loss. She faced bereavement at a young age with the death of her grandparents, who raised her, and more recently journeyed alongside some of those who lost loved ones to Covid. These experiences have given her a deep empathy for how isolating grief can feel. As a parish priest, she has also walked with many others through bereavement, offering comfort, understanding, and hope. Lisa is proud to be an ambassador for AtaLoss, supporting their vision to ensure no one has to face grief alone and that the right help is always available when it is needed most.

“Walking with people through loss, and having experienced it myself, has shown me the difference a helping hand can make.  Grief touches us all at some point and I’m proud to be an ambassador for AtaLoss, sharing support and understanding with those in bereavement “
