SLOW - Surviving the Loss of Your World

Community self-help groups providing support to bereaved parents and siblings in rebuilding their lives after the death of a child. Based in Islington, North London and open to all that have suffered the devastating loss of a child.

Solihull Bereavement Counselling Service’s aim is to provide a quality bereavement counselling service for people living or working in Solihull, through a dedicated team of professionals.

This service is confidential, we work with individuals helping bereaved people to move on with their lives.

South Bucks Counselling

We offer a professional and confidential one to one counselling service to adults. Many of our clients come from High Wycombe, Marlow or Maidenhead, however we are open to clients from any geographical area.

South Lanarkshire Council - Psychological Service

Give us a break! was developed by South Lanarkshire Council Psychological Service, in collaboration with Macmillan Cancer Support and NHS Lanarkshire. It is an eight session group work programme based on a solution focused approach. Give us a break! is aimed at 10-14 year olds who have experienced loss and negative change. It encourages young people to develop their personal strengths, meet others who have experienced similar changes, think towards their future, develop effective coping strategies, and reduce inappropriate distress.

St Barnabas Counselling Centre

St Barnabas Counselling Centre was founded in 1974 and is a registered charity offering low-cost counselling. We are fully accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).  We offer individual, relationship/couples, and corporate counselling to over 18's.

St Christopher's Hospice and Bromley Bereavement Service

Providing free Bereavement Support for family and friends of patients at St Christopher's Hospice. Also providing Bereavement Support for the London Borough of Bromley as long as registered to a Bromley GP

St Paul's Crofton, Orpington, Kent.

At St Paul's we have a small Bereavement Team led by a qualified Counsellor. We offer support and visits to people recently bereaved and known to the church. We also hold quarterly tea/coffee gatherings when a short talk about Bereavement is usually given and there are opportunities for mutual support.

St Wilfrid's Hospice (Chichester)

Hospice providing palliative care for adults. The Family Service of Social Workers, Counsellors and Chaplains provide psychological and spiritual support to patients, their families, including children and the bereaved. We have a 30 plus team of Hospice Vistors who provide emotional support for patients and the bereaved.

Stafford & District Bereavement & Loss Support Service

Stafford & District Bereavement & Loss Support Service (B&L), are a small independent registered charity. We offer a free, one to one service to local people over the age of 18, who have suffered any kind of loss or bereavement. We only support people who live in Stafford and the surrounding area. Recently, we started a bereavement group which is held on the second Wednesday evening of the month.
Our volunteer counsellors work for free and work tirelessly supporting our clients, and the organisation would be unable to continue without their dedication.
