Dawn Hobson
Head of Partnerships and Signposting

Dawn Hobson joined AtaLoss in March 2026. She is an experienced Independent Senior Advocate, having worked in the NHS to support bereaved families and ensure their voices are heard at a local and national level. She trained as a nurse and holds a PhD in Nursing focused on the care of dying patients within an acute hospital environment.

She continued her career in teaching and research in palliative care for 13 years, and led two large maternity feedback projects across North East London, which supported the NHS Equity and Equality action plans for the area.

Dawn lives in London with her husband and son and is radically committed to ensuring that all people experiencing grief are able to access timely and sensitive support.
