Ann Chalmers MBE 

Ann served for over two decades as Chief Executive of Child Bereavement UK, where she played a pivotal role in expanding national support services for families facing the death of a child, or where children and young people were bereaved. Under her leadership, the charity grew to become a leading voice in support and education around grief and loss across the UK.

Her extensive experience includes strategic development, charity leadership, and collaborative work with the health, education and voluntary sectors.

Ann was awarded an MBE for services to children and families affected by bereavement in the first King’s Birthday Honours in 2023. She joins AtaLoss as a Trustee with a longstanding passion for making sure everyone has the support they need following a bereavement.
