Prism Community Bereavement Service

PRISM Bereavement Support Services offers adults, children and young people (aged 5 - 18 years) the opportunity to process their grief by providing a safe, quiet space to cry, talk openly or to just sit and be with someone who can empathise with them. They cover all aspects of loss and grief, and have a number of support services available, completely free of charge. They meet in a safe place and refreshments are provided.

DROP IN BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT - 

 Meets every Saturday Morning 10:30- 12:30. Informal, friendly support in a 'safe' environment. They meet at The Hub, Elim Community Church, Hadley. Refreshments provided.

(1:1 support is available by appointment).

SCHOOLS GRIEF & LOSS SUPPORT - 

PRISM offer 1:1 Bereavement, Grief and Loss Support within the school environment, in a completely safe space. This service is only available via referral. They also hold peer led monthly support meetings that include craft work, making a memory box, feelings jar or memory jar. This is an informal support group, meeting others who have experienced the loss of a parent, carer, sibling, grandparent, or pet in a relaxed environment.
