 The other dates planned are:

Shipston-on-Stour Saturday September 18th

Kenilworth Saturday October 2nd

Leamington Spa Saturday November 13th

Stratford-upon-Avon Saturday December 4th

The objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'.

Chantal Meystre, founder of The Omega Course, says,

Now more than ever, there’s a need for gentle, curious conversations that encourage openness and reflection on the subject of death and dying. It’s not something we commonly discuss – and some people are afraid to do so.  A Death Café is a friendly, informal way to explore the topic.

Charlotte Temple, Lead for Community Connections at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire  says,

We need greater awareness and ease around the subject of death and dying.  We want people to feel comfortable talking to their friends, family and neighbours about it, especially at this time when so many are struggling in private in the wake of the pandemic.

Join the conversation over coffee and cake!
