Mary had lovely brown eyes, lovely hair, and a powerful laughter. Despite all her suffering in life, she was very life affirming. Her favourite phrase, " It,s beautiful". She played the piano very well including Beethoven,s " Pathetique Sonata". She loved music, art, theatre, ballet and opera. She had an intense detailed visual acuity, finding more in a picture than anyone I know. She had a great capacity for friendship, and was quite extrovert. I felt affirmed by her, and enjoyed her company. We went for holidays together. She had great empathy. She was the love of my life and I miss her very deeply.
