The Loss Foundation - South London Cancer Bereavement Support Group

On the 2nd Tuesday of the month we hold our monthly themed bereavement support group from 7.30pm to 9pm for people who have lost loved ones to cancer. The support group evenings are informal and provide a welcoming environment for you to share your experiences, thoughts and emotions

The Loss Foundation - Oxford Student Bereavement Support Group

Each term we hold 3 sessions for students who are bereaved. The groups run from 7.30pm to 9pm on a Thursday and are for students who are bereaved. The support group evenings are informal and provide a welcoming environment for you to share your experiences, thoughts and emotions. The space is there for you to use it as you need it on the day

The Loss Foundation

The Loss Foundation is the only UK charity dedicated solely to providing bereavement support following the loss of a loved one to cancer, whether that be spouses, family members, friends or colleagues.

We provide a variety of support events to help people at any point during their loss, and create the opportunity for them to meet others who have experienced something similar. We also educate and empower others to support those who are grieving via our workshops and training.

The Market Place

Our services are free, confidential and available for 11-25 year olds in Leeds. We offer a range of services including one to one support, counselling, group-work and our drop-in. All of these services are delivered by our Youth Work Service and Counselling Service

The Shakespeare Hospice

We offer bereavement support to children and young people between the ages of 5 and 18.We also help to support children and their families if someone close to them has a life limiting illness. Children are given opportunities to talk about their fears and anxieties in 1-1 sessions with a support worker and they are also invited to join in our groups so that they can meet other children who have been through a similar situation.
We also work closely with schools and teaching staff who may be supporting children and provide training either at the hospice or at school.

TimeNorfolk

TimeNorfolk offers support to women and men who have suffered a pregnancy loss due to miscarriage, stillbirth, termination and help people with the trauma associated with their loss. We also see clients suffering from infertility, perinatal anxiety and depression, birth trauma and support clients through a subsequent pregnancy when needed.
In the event of an unplanned pregnancy we offer somewhere people can come to talk to someone and look at the different options available to them, enabling them to make an informed choice.
