The Loss Foundation is the only UK charity dedicated solely to providing bereavement support following the loss of a loved one to cancer, whether that be spouses, family members, friends or colleagues. We provide a variety of support events to help people at any point during their loss, and create the opportunity for them to meet others who have experienced something similar. We also educate and empower others to support those who are grieving via our workshops and training.

Each term we hold 3 sessions for students who are bereaved by cancer. The groups run from 7.30pm to 9pm on a Thursday and are for students who are bereaved. The support group evenings are informal and provide a welcoming environment for you to share your experiences, thoughts and emotions. The space is there for you to use it as you need it on the day.

Group sessions are in London (, 3 Burrell Street, London, SE1 0UN. Yes it’s a sofa showroom! Plenty of comfy seats and space for you to bring whatever you want to talk about on the day. You’ll find the venue nestled in a quiet old railway arch).

Student sessions are in Oxford. Call 07732 070 972 or check the website for details.

Our website is available to anyone around the country to find information.
