Scotland's only cot death charity. Support services include bereavement support home visits, individual and couple counselling and befriending. The Next Infant Support Programme is available during pregnancy and for 12 months after baby is born, including the loan of an apnoea monitor, for parents and siblings affected by cot death.

Regardless of where you live in Scotland, the Scottish Cot Death Trust is here to support you through this very difficult and distressing time. Anyone can make a referral for you, providing you have given your permission. We aim to provide holistic bereavement support for all family members, which includes outreach support where and when you need it. We will support you using the communication style you prefer when you want it and support you at the level you need – it might be one phone call with a support worker or long term psychotherapy counselling, regular contact with a support worker and contact with other families. To begin with you might not know how much support you will need. We will be there to support you through every stage of your grief.
