Bereavement can impact hugely and affect all areas of life.

The Bereavement Journey course is for anyone who has been bereaved at any time, whatever the circumstances of the death.

Facilitated by experienced group leaders, over the 5 weeks of the main part of the course, you will be provided with the opportunity to participate within a small group of bereaved people who have experienced a significant loss similar to your own, often at different times in their lives. Peer support is hugely helpful if you are struggling and you will soon realise you are not alone in your pain. The unwelcome feelings you may have been experiencing are part of everyone's bereavement journey.

By means of a series of films and discussions in your group, the course will gently guide you through the most common aspects of grief, enabling you to process the implications for yourself and discern next steps. The course has been tried and tested over 24 years, and has provided many thousands of people with the support they needed on their bereavement journey.

The course uniquely offers an optional sixth session on faith questions in bereavement provided from a Christian perspective for anyone wishing to explore this side of their grief. Otherwise, The Bereavement Journey is suitable for people of any faith or none.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, a national course is being run on line, enabling you to attend in the comfort and safety of your own home, wherever that is. The next course will start on 19th January.
