Are you a bereaved man?

Men often feel the need to be strong and active in the face of grief. Such responses are OK as long as you aren't avoiding your feelings altogether.

Men who deny and repress their real feelings of grief may suffer serious long-term problems including depression, low self esteem and difficult relationships with friends and family amongst others. Sometimes they become workaholics.

If you see any of these symptoms in yourself you'll be interested in Bereavement Support for Men. We offer a safe environment for bereaved men to discuss their loss and grief with people who understand - other bereaved men. Once a year we organise a weekend just for bereaved men, with fun outdoor activities, good food and opportunities to connect with others travelling a similar journey.  Come and gain some understanding of your grief journey. Have a look at this short video to see how this weekend could help you.
