Welcome to our virtual sculpture exhibition

Bald Statements by Jean Parker

AtaLoss.org is hosting this online exhibition - kindly loaned to us by the Westhill Foundation - through November - the month of remembrance - and December in memory of all those who have died in our country during 2020, whatever the cause. We hope it brings insights, healing and peace to everyone who has lost someone dear during these challenging times.

Eight sculptures deal with personal loss and the grieving process, after Jean’s own experience of cancer, divorce and bereavement. Each sculpture deals with an aspect of the grief process which is explained through the following stages: denial, disbelief, questioning, anger, depression, acceptance, healing and peace.

The exhibition is based on a live exhibition. It is about 20 minutes long. So get yourself a glass of wine or cup of coffee, sit back and experience.

If you have been moved by this exhibition and the issues it covers, please do leave a comment below that will encourage others. We will share your comments with Westhill. You do this by writing your comment and then 'registering' your name and email address. Thank you.

If you have been affected by the issues covered, we are here for you if you need to find bereavement support and Griefchat can be found HERE if you would like to 'talk' to a professional counsellor online.

Please consider making a donation to AtaLoss.org so that we can continue to offer our much needed signposting service through this website. Thank you.
